After much preparation and creativity we finally were able to showcase our wearable artworks. Here we are parading in front of the school dancing and moving to a very cool song.
We are also learning to play the ukelele. This takes a lot of patience, hard work and experimenting. It is great fun playing this instrument. Even Miss Duncan is learning along the way.

The past week has certainly being very busy. Last Tuesday Scott Tulloch who is a children's book illustrator visited the school to present the Duffy books. We are very pleased with the books we chose.
On Thursday Sacred Heart is presenting our wearable arts creations. The children were very busy last week making wonderful and whacky items to wear. However the classroom looked like we had never seen it before.
The weekend saw the opening of the rugby world cup. This morning New Zealand played (and won against) Argentina. To celebrate the world cup children were encouraged to wear a item showing a team colour in the competition. GO ALL BLACKS!
